Create your dream sim, explore the world and build relationships in The Sims 3!

The Sims 3 for Android gives you everything you need to create the sim of your dreams (or nightmares!) The game offers hundreds of hours of quests, relationships and exploration, all with the same interface and level of interaction that you’ve come to know and love.

You’ll be able to customize the look and personality of your sims, along with their hopes and dreams – from there your sim is plopped down into the world and has to make their way. You’ll still be able to furnish your home, find your sims jobs and give them some R&R time, too.

It’s important to note that there are some changes from the original console and PC versions of the game. You can grow corn for example and start your own permaculture farm right in your backyard for green-minded sims, go fishing at the local lake and meet like-minded introverts, and you’ll also be able to supercharge interactions and conversations by making sure your sims are rested and well fed.

We like that there are different locations available in this version of the game and that they’ve shaken things up a bit, but it’s important to point out that there are a few things wrong with the mobile version that can kill the experience.

The first problem with The Sims 3 for Android is the fact that the controls have a tendency to quit working altogether; it should go without saying that when you’re playing a game where you have to micromanage every single action of your sim-human, you need to be able to use the controls.

Another issue is that the game could use more content. The PC and Console versions have great add-ons that bring college, summer vacations and other situations to your sims and expand replayability, but The Sims 3 for Android just doesn’t have that.

The final gripe from most users is that the game gets to be too easy after a while. Once you’ve sorted out a nice job and some hobbies for your sim, they will cycle through all the quests and interactions a little too quickly, leaving you with not much else to do.

Aside from that though, this mobile version of The Sims 3 is definitely a fun way to kill a few hours of free time. The graphics are a little dated and it doesn’t have as much content as the original, but it’s not bad for what it is.

The Sims 3 is a virtual simulation game that has been redesigned for mobile play on Android.

As with its original incarnation, The Sims 3 for Android provides players the opportunity to create and live in their very own world with fully customizable Sims. Each Sim's personality and look is able to be built from the ground up, ensuring that each player's world is as unique as themselves. Despite managing to pack in all of the gameplay of the original version into a mobile phone, The Sims 3 doesn't really make any sacrifices to the visuals or other capabilities. Although the game could always benefit from having more jobs and visual customizations, what it offers here is still nothing short of astounding.

The popular PC game that gives its players control over the life of a simulated human is ready for Android with this app. The Sims 3 begins with the player creating their Sim and customizing its appearance, with options for everything from skin tone and hair color to pants and hats. The Sim then moves into a house of their own, where the player must keep them fed, cleaned and rested. The Sim also comes up with goals, such as going fishing or getting a job, which the player must try to complete. Though it lacks the expansive gameplay of the computer version, The Sims 3 is still an amusing and enjoyable game.
